How to add online bookings to your restaurant website.
Before copying code, configure the availability you want to offer. Then choose between a button linking to the engine and an embedded form. This guide covers both options, WordPress steps and useful mobile checks.

1. Prepare hours and capacity.
Define booking days, published services, arrival intervals and the number of guests you can serve. Make sure closed dates are not offered as available.
If you already have another system, decide which tool controls each channel during transition. Two independent engines selling the same seats can offer conflicting availability. Review future bookings first and establish a changeover date.
2. Choose a link or an embedded form.
A Book button using the restaurant’s public link is the simplest option: guests open the engine and complete the booking there. Place it in the header and near content explaining your restaurant. Do not hide it only at the end of the menu.
An iframe displays the engine inside a website page. Keep an alternative link for devices or templates where embedding does not work well. Avoid several different booking forms on the same page.
3. In WordPress, use a Custom HTML block.
Open the page intended for bookings, add a Custom HTML block and paste your restaurant’s iframe. Replace the sample slug with the real identifier; do not publish the demonstration link.
The code below uses full width and an indicative starting height. Adjust height by checking every form stage: date, time, details and confirmation. Templates or visual builders may add margins around the block; check the published view as well as the editor.
4. Check the complete journey before publishing.
On a phone and a computer, test a valid booking and check it reaches the panel. Review the date, time and party size. Then test a closed date and a full service to verify availability.
Check confirmation messages and the policy guests see. If you use deposits, validate that journey with the team before opening it publicly. A good-looking screenshot does not confirm a booking has arrived.

Replace “tu-restaurante” with your real slug. Height is indicative; check all form stages.

What restaurants thinking about switching usually ask us. No fine print.
You do not need an additional booking plugin to embed an iframe in a Custom HTML block. Your user permissions and template must allow that HTML.
Check it with your restaurant’s own bookings.
